Peter Robertson was born in Glasgow and educated at Cambridge University. In addition to fiction and critical articles, he has published literary translations of many authors including Pierre de Ronsard, Eluard, Rubén Dario and Rosalia de Castro. In 2007 he was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He lives in London and Buenos Aires.
