María Teresa Andruetto is an award-winning Argentine author who was born in Córdoba Province in 1954. She is the author of many works in a range of genres such as fiction, poetry and critical articles, and has published several novels including Tama, which was awarded the Luis Tejeda Municipal Prize; La Mujer en cuestión, which was awarded Best Novel by Fondo Nacional de las Artes; and Lengua Madre, which was shortlisted for the Clarín Prize for Best Novel in 2007.
