Geoffrey Philp is a poet and fiction writer who teaches English at Miami Dade College, where he also chairs the North Campus' College Preparatory Department. A critically acclaimed author, Philp has published ten books, including his most recent collection of poems Dub Wise. His work also has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies, including Small Axe, Gulf Stream, Wheel and Come Again: An Anthology of Reggae Poetry, the Oxford Book of Caribbean Short Stories, and the Oxford Book of Caribbean Verse. |
