Lidia Vianu is a Professor of Contemporary British Literature at Bucharest University, Director of the online translation review Translation Café, http://www.escoala.ro/ctitc/translation_cafe.html. and author of works including Censorship in Romania. She was, with Adam J. Sorkin, winner of the 2005 Corneliu M. Popescu Prize for European Poetry Translation.
