Stephen Burt is
Associate Professor of English at Harvard. His new collection of
essays and reviews, Close Calls with Nonsense, will appear
from Graywolf in April 2009; he is also writing a book about
poets and places, and half a book about sonnets. The most
recent book of his own poems is Parallel Play
(2006).
