Richard Reeve has been writing poetry for two decades. He has published four books of poetry, Dialectic of Mud (Auckland University Press 2001), The Life and the Dark (Auckland University Press 2004), In Continents (Auckland University Press 2008) and The Among (Maungatua Press 2008).
A fifth book, Generation Kitchen, is forthcoming. Reeve holds Ph.D. in English on 'New Zealand Poetic Reality', and until 2009 worked as Editor for Otago University Press before returning to study Law full-time. He has received a number of awards for his writing, including a selection of work in the annual Best New Zealand Poems series, and is the current featured poet in Poetry New Zealand. |
