Edie Meidav is the author of Crawl Space, set in France, The Far Field: A Novel of Ceylon, set in Sri Lanka, and a forthcoming novel, set in northern California. She has received for her work a Lannan Fellowship, a Bard Fiction Prize for Writers Under 40, a Kafka Prize for Best Novel by an American Woman, a Fulbright in Sri Lanka and a Village Voice Writers on the Verge Award. Born in Toronto, raised in California, she now teaches at Bard College in upstate New York.
