Katri Skala is a new writer. Her first novel, a work-in-progress, was awarded an Arts Council of England Award. Her first short stories were published recently by Untitled Books. She has worked as an editor, literary programmer and arts administrator in New York and London, and most recently in Norwich at the University of East Anglia where she ran an international gathering of writers, New Writing Worlds.
