Guidelines for Submission
Interlitq accepts submissions for short fiction, non-fiction, and poetry. We do not accept any unsolicited material that has been previously published. If the material appears anywhere online, including your personal blog, we cannot consider it for publication.
Short fiction: Submit one story at a time for consideration. Wait to hear from us before submitting another. Please do not submit stories longer than 4,500 words or less than 500 words. We also publish self-contained excerpts from novels. We do not publish plays.
Non-fiction: We are interested in creative non-fiction including personal essays, critical essays, scholarly essays, book reviews, and interviews with authors.
Poetry: Please send no more than five poems in a single submission.
Translations: Translations must have permission from the copyright holder and include a copy of the original work with the submission.
We do accept simultaneous submissions, but please let us know immediately if the work is accepted elsewhere.
Submissions are accepted only by e-mail at this address: submissions@interlitq.org
Please write "Submission" in the Subject line and your name. Indicate whether your submission is fiction, non-fiction, or poetry. Please provide a short bio with your submission.
Interlitq is not able to pay contributors, but we do offer an international readership for your work. We ask for first-time Internet rights for all works we publish. Works are also archived online. All other rights remain with the author.
