Ronald Christ is the president of PEN New Mexico and publisher of Lumen Books. He received the Kayden National Translation Award for Diamela Eltit’s E. Luminata and this spring will issue Eltit’s Custody of the Eyes, which he translated in collaboration with Helen Lane.
Ronald Christ has written widely on art and literature for publications such as Commonweal, Partisan Review, artscanada, and Review. In addition to Lumen Books, he also founded the architectural magazine SITES and has produced films on work by Gaudí and Jujol and on the Barcelona Pavilion.
