Rhisiart Hincks is a Senior Lecturer in Welsh and Breton at the University of Aberystwyth, Wales, where he has taught since 1978. He was born in Leicester, England, in 1954. In 2007 he was awarded Urzh an Erminig [The Order of the Ermine] by Skol-Uhel ar Vro / Institut Culturel de Bretagne. He contributes to the Breton magazine Al Lanv [The Tide] (Kemper / Quimper), and edits the bilingual Welsh and Breton magazine Breizh / Llydaw [Brittany / Wales] for Cymdeithas Cymru-Llydaw [The Wales-Brittany Society]. His publications include: E.
