Angela Topping is a British poet and critic. She has had eight collections of her poetry published by a range of publishers, and four chapbooks, with a fifth in the pipeline. She has also written three critical books and is currently writing a fourth. Her work has been set on an A level syllabus, been featured on BBC Radios’d Poetry Please, and appeared in many journals including The Poetry Review and The Dark Horse, as well as InterlitQ. She is a former writer in residence at Gladstone’s Library, Hawarden, and has won several prizes. The title poem of this collection won first prize in Buzzwords 2013.
