Catalina Chervin was born in Corrientes, Argentina, in January 1953. After graduating from The National School of Fine Art in Buenos Aires, she worked at Robert Blackburn’s Printmaking Workshop in New York. Chervin’s work is to be found in many public collections including The British Museum, The Brooklyn Museum of Art, Princeton University Art Museum and The Victoria and Albert Museum. Chervin has been the recipient of many awards and grants, one of these being a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in 2004.
