Laura Muetzelfeldt started writing while studying Drawing and Painting at Glasgow School of Art. After a succession of low paid jobs, she spent time in New York – working as a nanny and at a Private Detective’s office in Manhattan – before returning to study English Literature at Glasgow University. She stayed on to graduate with a Distinction from the Creative Writing Masters course in 2007, and is in the process of putting together a collection of short stories.
