Sheenagh Pugh was born in Birmingham, a place she has avoided ever since. Welsh-Irish, she spent most of her life in Wales but now lives in the Shetland Islands. She has published many collections with the Welsh house Seren, the latest being Short Days, Long Shadows(2014), also two novels and a critical study on fan fiction.
