Born on June 11, 1997, Abigail Harrison (aka Astronaut Abby) is a US advocate for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) education, and an aspiring astronaut who intends to be the first person to set foot on Mars. She is the founder and leader of “The Mars Generation”, a nonprofit with a mission to spread the word about human space exploration, STEAM education, and to promote an awareness of how both these elements can contribute to the future of humankind on earth. Harrison and TMG can point to over one million followers on their combined social media channels. Harrison is currently attending Wellesley College, where she is majoring in astrobiology and Russian. With a view to achieving her long-term objectives, Astronaut Abby has also been studying to become a pilot.
