Martha Nussbaum, the U.S. philosopher who is a Consulting Editor for Interlitq, has been cited in “The case for increasing the minimum wage” (Ahmad Fuad Rahmat, The Malaysian Insider, 04.05.12) that begins, “Prime Minister Najib Razak’s announcement of a minimum wage requirement for the private sector has been met with outrage from pro-business Malaysians” before going on to mention Nussbaum’s version of the capabilities approach by virtue of which “wealth and poverty should not simply be understood in terms of income, but the life that is lived as a result”
